Nine
Month Old Seedling belonging to John Dawson in
Columbia County, Arkansas. This seedling
measured 56 inches in height (the pole in John's
hand is 50 inches; John was too cheap to buy a
measuring stick).
This stand
was Sheared, Raked, Plowed, Planted with 2nd
Generation Atlantic Coastal Seedlings (IFC),
herbaceous sprayed and fertilized (dap).
Planting date was January 2000. John owns
Arkansas Pulpwood (14 logging crews) and has
timber holdings throughout Southern Arkansas.

the seedling purchase, planting, and
